Welcome to The Gables Medical Centre
The Gables Medical Centre is a GP/Doctor Surgery which is based on the 3rd floor of the Nutgrove Retail Park, Nutgrove Avenue, Dublin 14.
Our new and modern facilities are very spacious and patient friendly, offering the latest in health care.
It is a family practice that has over twenty years experience providing traditional, individualised and compassionate medical care.
We endeavour to serve all members of the community. We focus on comprehensive evaluation and management of health-related issues
that arise throughout the many stages of life. Equally important to us is the application of good medical preventive care with the goal of providing healthy lifestyles and practices.

Dr. Derval Mercer
MB. Bch BAO M.I.C.G.P
Derval graduated from the Medical School of Trinity College in July 2000. She has worked in Paediatrics, General Medicine, Psychiatry, Medicine for the Elderly, Palliative Care and Accident and Emergency in the Dublin Hospitals before graduating from the Eastern Regional Vocational General Practice Training Scheme in 2004. Derval is committed to the next generation of Doctors. She is a lecturer with UCD School of Medicine and the practice regularly hosts medical students on placement from University College Dublin.
Dr Anne-Marie Flynn
MB. Bch BAO M.I.C.G.P
Graduated from University College Dublin in 2006. She undertook General Medicine post graduate training before moving on to undertake vocational GP training with the Irish College of General Practitioners. She became a Member of the Irish College of General Practitioners in 2013. She worked as a GP in Ireland until 2015 when she
re located to Melbourne. She worked as a GP in Melbourne until 2019. She holds FRACGP ad endum gradum since July 2015.
Like her colleagues she enjoys all aspects of family medicine but has a particular interest in women's health, antenatal care, paediatrics , chronic disease management and Mental health.
She holds the Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
Grace O'Brien
PRACTICE MANAGER
Grace joined us in 2019 and is a great addition to the practice. She is responsible for the daily operations of the practice. Together with Kay and Ann, Grace ensures that the practice is run efficiently and maintains the highest standards for our patients.
Kay Nolan
MEDICAL SECRETARY
Kay and Ann are a friendly and indispensable part of The Gables Medical Centre Practice. Together, they have amassed 35 years of expertise in the day-to-day running of the practice. They are our patients' first point of contact and provide help in making appointments, organising referrals and tests etc.
